Effective Communication?

This may come across as a bit of rant (bad day sprinkled with a lack of communication), but that seems to be going around lately.  I decided to write a quick post and give a few websites that you can visit to gain some insight into improving communication in your personal and business life.

I have been in customer service and various levels of management my entire life.  Communication is one of the keys to any successful organization.  You know, I just realized, I should be saying effective communication.

Think about all of the conversations you have throughout the day.  Were there any that did not go well?  What could you have done differently?

Most of the problems come up from either not explaining yourself clearly, not comprehending what the other person is saying, or thinking about what you are going to say next, thus missing the persons point again.
